JD — the work
About the role
First infrastructure hire, working directly with the CTO: build the entire runtime layer of an agentic integration platform — durable execution, sandboxed isolation, self-healing, and a self-hostable enterprise build. Set the patterns every future infra engineer inherits, then help hire and lead the team.
What you'll do
- Own infra end-to-end: a 'Vercel for integration runtimes' with durable, sandboxed, self-healing execution
- Scale the infrastructure powering coding agents that write, test, and deploy integration code
- Design enterprise-grade observability across integrations and agents
- Architect a single-tenant, self-hostable build customers run in their own cloud
- Help recruit the infra team and grow into leadership
What they're looking for
- 3+ years of infrastructure/platform work at high-growth startups
- Production shipping cadence in ambiguous environments
- Architecture judgment that holds up under scale
